More About Hypnosis for Weight Loss and Gastric Band Hypnosis
Losing weight is often seen as a struggle – we go to Weight Watchers or Slimming World or do the Dukan diet and it might work for a while a and then you go back to the old ways of eating and put some if not all of the weight back on.
This is because you haven’t addressed WHY you overeat:
It can be a range of things that make you a “yo yo dieter”.
• comfort eating or binge eating when stressed or anxious or emotional
• you were told to “clear your plate” when a child
• you may have a skewed idea of portion size
• maybe some unresolved issues or limiting perceptions around eating
• you don’t really exercise
• you eat “rubbish food” which makes you “feel better about yourself”
• you might habitually drink more than half a bottle of Wine a night
The problems that can come from being overweight or obese can range from heart disease to diabetes and osteoarthritis or even cancer. If you imagine each pound of fat as if it were a brick of lard – you get the idea- put fourteen of those bricks in a rucksack and try to even walk around and your joints and you will protest loudly you may have difficulty breathing and you will soon feel worn out.
