Now out in Cinemas and soon on DVD!
In the US it is also known as LOVES KITCHEN.
My character John the publican is based on the publican in Kate Middleton's village and the pub is named after The Boot there!

MISSING PIECES
I have written with Karen Lynne a new Dance Theatre piece about disability called MISSING PIECES. It is based around the Hauxwell family in Darlington (yes related to Hannah Hauxwell!) and we have been looking for Darlington folk who remember Harry Hauxwell and Violet Hauxwell and the Hauxwell girls Lillian, Joyce and Vi. We are also interested in people who were around in Darlington between 1929 and 1975 - the span of the play who could give us background particularly on the early years. Do you remember them
We are putting funds in place with Production partners Brian Debnam of BDA and John Holmes of Urban Matters with a projected 2012 production. There was a successful rehearsed reading for potential sponsors at Live Theatre in Newcastle on September 18th 2011 which will lead to a Workshop to show more of the Dance elements in London on 29th June 2012 at Toynbee Studios Theatre. We are talking to a brilliant and experienced choreographer who has worked with some extraordinary people and on Strictly Come Dancing / Let's Dance - we have also had advice from Peggy Spencer one of the founders of Come Dancing about working as a Professional Dancer in the 1940s. We have Carole Todd on board as a Consultant - Carole has many West End shows to her credit - her latest being Dreamboats and Petticoats.

I filmed THE HAUNTING OF HARRY PAYNE in 2011 playing Moocher the Poacher. This Hammer Horror style film is due for full release in early 2012
Graham Howes Actor - OVERVIEW:
I have been working for Opera North in the two Gershwin rarities set and written in the Depression of the thirties: "Of thee I sing" and the Europen premiere of the related "Let 'em eat cake". I played Senator Lyons - one of the few grey men who really run the country in this piece of silly and sublime piece of Musical Theatre written by George Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind who were responsible for Marx Brothers movies amongst other wonders. They won a Pulitzer Prize for "Of thee I sing" which redefined the way that Musicals were written - one of the first pioneers responsible for making the songs part of the plot rather than a charming interlude!
My career has been from Kids TV "Model Millie" "Juliet Bravo" to appearing in two series of "Kingdom". Theatre has seen me working in Shakespeare like Claudius in Hamlet for the ESC and parts like Henchard the Mayor of Casterbridge and Dr Frankenstein to FAME in the West End, Daddy Warbucks in ANNIE and the rare revival of PROMISES PROMISES - the only Bacharach/David musical called with a book by Neil Simon based on The Apartment at the Crucible Theatre Sheffield.
